It's an automatic unit with a 4³/₁₀-inch touchscreen display and control pad. The coffee bean hopper has a 2³/₅-pound capacity; the grinding blades are made of durable steel. The touch screen gives warnings when the machine needs to be cleaned and when the blades need to be replaced.

This Gaggia G10 coffee grinder is also equipped with a USB port, which allows its programming to be updated periodically.
